Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
1 medium Onion, minced
2 teaspoons Grated fresh ginger root
3 \N Garlic cloves, minced
6 \N Whole cloves
¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
1½ pounds Fresh spinach, washe removed, and choppe
4 tablespoons Plain whole-milk yog
¼ teaspoon Salt
\N \N Freshly ground peppe

Heat the oil in a large suacepan. Add the onion, and fry for 3 minute Add the ginger root and garlic, and continue to cook, stirring, for 2 mintues more. Add the cloves and cayenne and mix well. Stir in the spinach. Add the yogurt, one tablespoon at a time, blending well befo adding the next one. Reduce heat to low, cover, and cook for 2 minute Sprinkle with salt and pepper, mix, and serve.
