Russian cheese babka

Ingredients

| 2 | packs | (8oz) cream cheese soft |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla extract |
| ½ | cup | Butter |
| ⅓ | cup | Chopped red candied cherries |
| 1 | cup | Lg. curd cream style cottage |
| ¼ | cup | Golden raisins |
| Cheese | ||
| 2 | tablespoons | Diced candied pineapple |
| ½ | cup | Sugar |
| ¼ | cup | Toasted almonds (optional) |
| 1 | tablespoon | Fine shredded orange peel |
| 1 | tablespoon | \" \" lemon peel |
Directions
Combine first 7 ingredients, beat until smooth. Mix in remaining ingredients. With a moistened piece of cheescloth line a clean flower pot whole. Put in mix and put on a rack to drain in refrigerator overnight or longer. Unmold and garnish with candied cherries.
