Rice and beef casserole

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 tablespoons Margarine
¾ cup Onion, chopped
1 pounds Ground beef
1¼ teaspoon Seasoned salt
¼ teaspoon Minced garlic
¼ teaspoon Oregano
¼ teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can Tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 can Cream of mushroom soup 10 oz
1½ cup Cooked rice

Brown onions and beef in butter. Add seasoning, garlic, oregano and thyme. Mix worcestershire, tomato sauce and soup then pour over meat.

Add rice and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes, stirring often. Spoon mixture into 1½ quart Pyrex casserole. Put cheese slices (cheddar) on top and broil in oven until the cheese bubbles.
