4½ pounds | Rib roast |
2 tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
1 \N | Chopped onion |
2 \N | Chopped carrots |
2 \N | Chopped celery stalks |
1 \N | Bay leaf |
1 cup | Red wine |
1 cup | Water |
Heat oven to 325. Mix flour, mustard & seasonings. Rub into roast.
Place in pan. Pour worcestershire sauce over. Surround meat with vegetables, bay leaf & pour in wine & water. Place in oven. Bake to desired doneness. Use juices to baste. Use juices to make gravy.
Serve with Yorkshire Pudding.
