Red pepper mayonnaise (dupree)

Measure Ingredient
2 red bell peppers -- roasted

2 c mayonnaise

6 TB fresh basil -- finely

: chopped

1 TB lemon juice

: Salt and pepper

In a food processor or blender, puree the mayonnaise, peppers, basil, and lemon juice. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Makes 2-½ cups
