Quick buttermilk biscuits

Yield: 8 biscuits

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Sifted flour
1 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Baking soda
5 tablespoons Sacco Buttermilk Blend
½ cup Oil
1 cup Water

Sift dry ingredients. Make a well in the center & add oil/water all at once. Stir well. Pat into a solid mass & divide into 8 pieces.

Roll each into a ball and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. To freeze for later: Bake for 7-8 minutes, until risen. Freeze. To thaw & serve - Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes in the top half of the oven.
