Potatoes with juniper berries

Ingredients

poundsPotatoes, peeled and coarsly grated
¼teaspoonFreshly ground black pepper
1Red bell pepper, seeded and diced
6Crushed juniper berries

Directions

Place potatoes in a colander and rinse well under cold running water.

Do not drain, but place them in a skillet with other ingredients.

Cook gently, turning occasionally, for ½ hour. Add water sparingly, as needed.
