LEMON-POPPY SEED POPOVERS: Prepare Popovers as directed, EXCEPT add 1 Tbsp poppy seed and 1½ tsp finely shredded lemon or orange peel with the flour and salt.
SPICED POPOVERS: Prepare Popovers as directed, EXCEPT add 2 tsp brown sugar, ½ tsp ground cinnamon, ¼ tsp ground ginger, and ⅛ tsp ground cloves with the flour and salt. BUTERMILK POPOVERS: Prepare Popovers as directed, EXCEPT substitute 1 cup buttermilk for the milk.
GARLIC 'N' CHIVE POPOVERS: Prepare Popovers as directed, EXCEPT add 1 Tbsp snipped chives or parsley and ⅛ tsp garlic powder with the flour and salt.
