4cupsBasil, fresh -- packed
1cupOlive oil
4tablespoonsPine nuts
4Garlic cloves
½cupParmesan cheese -- grated
OR
½cupVegan parmesan substitute
3tablespoonsRomano cheese -- grated

Directions

To make filling: Blend basil, oil, nuts and garlic for 2 to 3 minutes in a blender or food processor.

Add cheese and blend until smooth, about one minute. Fill and cook tamales according to "Tamales: Basic Procedure".
