Peffernuts

Yield: 3 servings

Measure Ingredient
1 tablespoon Butter, heaping
1 pounds Flour
1 pounds Powdered sugar
4 \N Eggs
3 ounces Citron, chopped
½ cup Nuts
½ teaspoon Nutmeg
½ teaspoon Cloves
1 tablespoon Cinnamon
2 teaspoons Baking powder, dissolved in
\N \N 1 tb. of milk

Beat eggs till light, add sugar, beat 15 minutes. Add flour with spices. Makes very stiff dough. Shape in little balls. Let set overnight. Bake at 350 degrees until light golden brown. Randy Rigg Submitted By RANDY RIGG On 09-23-95
