2tablespoonsSoy sauce
1tablespoonRice wine
2teaspoonsFresh root ginger; chopped
2teaspoonsSesame oil
2teaspoonsCornflour
2tablespoonsGarlic; crushed
2tablespoonsGinger; crushed
1Onion; finely diced
1Chilli; finely diced
2tablespoonsOrange zest; finely chopped
2tablespoonsBeef stock
tablespoonRice wine
1tablespoonBlack bean sauce
1tablespoonSoy sauce
2teaspoonsSugar

Directions

MARINADE

SAUCE

Slice the beef and place into a marinade for 20 minutes. Heat a wok and add a little sesame oil. Stir the beef around in the marinade and drain the ingredients into a colander.

Place beef into the hot wok and brown (keep warm).

Sauce: Add the garlic, ginger and onion to the pan and stir fry. Add the chillies and orange zest. Add stock, rice wine, black bean sauce and sugar.

Simmer and reduce to desired consistency.

Serve the sauce with the beef.
