Orange raisin squares

Ingredients

| ½ | cup | Shortening |
| 2 | eaches | Eggs |
| 1 | cup | Sour cream |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 1 | teaspoon | Baking soda |
| 2 | cups | Flour |
| 1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
| 1 | cup | Raisins |
| 1 | each | Orange; small - rind of |
Directions
Add soda to cream. Grate orange peel. Pour hot water over raisins, then grind. Bake in large flat pan. Roll in powdered sugar or use orange icing.
Note: No temperature give. Assume a slow 325 F. oven.
