Onions in sauce for a feijoada

Ingredients

| 1 | large | Onion, sliced thin |
| ¼ | teaspoon | Salt |
| 3 | tablespoons | Tabasco sauce |
| 3 | tablespoons | Olive oil |
| 2 | tablespoons | Vinegar |
Directions
Cover the onion with boiling water, drain, & rinse in cold water.
Drain well. Add the remaining ingredients & let stand at room temperature 30 minutes or longer.
