Onions and mushrooms in sauce

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
2 cans Cans small onions; drained
1 can (4-oz) mushrooms; drained
½ Stick butter
4 tablespoons Flour
2 cups Milk
¼ pounds Grated cheese
2 tablespoons Mayonnaise

Make white sauce of butter, flour and milk. When thick, add cheese and mayonnaise, stirring well. Combine onions and mushrooms, put into 1-½ quart casserole and pour sauce over. Top with seasoned bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes. Perfect with barbecued meat.
