Old-world stuffed pork chops

Measure Ingredient
4 eaches Pork chops -- 1/2 inch

1 tablespoon Olive oil
1 dash Salt
1 dash Pepper
3 cups Dry bread crumbs --
\N \N Unseasoned cube
1 can Corn -- cream-style 16 oz
1 each Egg -- lightly beaten
1 teaspoon Onion -- grated
½ teaspoon Sage -- rubbed
½ teaspoon Dried basil
½ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper

In a skillet, brown pork chops in oil on both sides; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well. Alternate the pork chops and stuffing lengthwise in a greased 3 qt. or 11x7x2 inch baking dish. bake uncovered at 350 deg.
