Minestrone hamburger soup

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Lean ground beef; browned and drained
1 \N Chopped onion
2 \N Potatoes; peeled and cubed
2 \N Carrots; peeled and sliced
2 \N Celery stalks; sliced
1 can Tomatoes; cut-up
1 cup Shredded cabbage
1 \N Bay leaf
¼ teaspoon Dried thyme
¼ teaspoon Dried basil
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Pepper
\N \N Grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese

"Stolen" from Rival Crock-Pot Cooking book Place all ingredients except cheese in crockpot; stir thoroughly. Add water to cover. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 12 hours. {Or on HIGH setting for 3 to 5 hours.} Stir well. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
