Mile high meringue

Ingredients

3Egg whites
2tablespoonsCold water
Pinch of salt
¼teaspoonCream of tarter
¼teaspoonVanilla
3tablespoonsGranulated sugar or icing sugar

Directions

Combine egg whites and cold water in large bowl. Beat until frothy.

Add slt, cream of tarter, and vanilla. Beat until stiff. Add sugar and beat to stiff peaks. Pile on to hot pie, tarts or cake and bake at 325 deg F. or until golden.
