Meringue frosting

Measure Ingredient
¾ cup Crisco
1 tablespoon Meringue powder
1 teaspoon Flavoring
1 teaspoon Salt
½ cup Water; (1/2 to 2/3)
2 pounds Powdered sugar

Beat Crisco, powder, flavoring and salt. Slowly add sugar alternately with water. Beat well for 5 minutes. Does not have to be refrigerated. Keeps weeks covered tightly. Remix before using.
