Meringue frosting

| ¾ | cup | Crisco |
| 1 | tablespoon | Meringue powder |
| 1 | teaspoon | Flavoring |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | cup | Water; (1/2 to 2/3) |
| 2 | pounds | Powdered sugar |
Directions
Beat Crisco, powder, flavoring and salt. Slowly add sugar alternately with water. Beat well for 5 minutes. Does not have to be refrigerated. Keeps weeks covered tightly. Remix before using.
