Merry christmas cookies

Quantity Ingredient
⅓ cup Shortening
⅓ cup Sugar
1 Egg
⅔ cup Honey
1 teaspoon Lemon flavoring
2¾ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Soda
1 teaspoon Salt

Mix shortening, sugar, egg, honey & flavoring. Stir together flour, soda & salt; blend in. Chill dough. Heat oven to 375. Roll dough out ¼" thick. Cut into shapes. Place 1" apart on lightly greased sheet.

Bake 8-10 minutes. When cool, ice & decorate.
