Maple gravy

Ingredients

3tablespoonsFat from roast turkey drippings; or butter
3tablespoonsAll purpose flour
½cupReserved turkey cooking juices; or chicken stock
cupChicken stock; or giblet stock
½cupPure maple syrup

Directions

Prep: 5 min, Cook: 15 min.

Heat turkey fat in a heavy pan over medium heat. Add flour and stir constantly 2-3 minutes until flour turns golden. Slowly stir in remaining ingredients and salt and pepper to taste. Simmer mixture about 10 minutes, stirring frequently until gravy thickens.
