Macadamia nut brittle

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Macadamias coarsely chopped
1½ cup Sugar
1½ cup Light corn syrup
1½ teaspoon Baking soda

Place all ingredients in a copper pot or a nonstick pot over medium heat.

Bring to the hard crack stage (310 degrees) and remove from heat. With a wooden spoon, stir in baking soda. Pour the mixture from the pot onto a lined sheet tray in an even layer let cool. Break into pieces, or can spoon onto lined sheet tray to make individual pieces.
