Ltallan vegtable soup

| 1 | medium | Onion -- sliced |
| 1 | can | Whole tomatoes |
| 6 | ounces | With liquid, chopped |
| 1 | can | Garbanzo beans -- l5 ounces |
| Drained | ||
| 1 | can | Beef broth -- 14-1/2 ounces |
| 1½ | cup | Water |
| 2 | mediums | Zucchini |
| Cut into 1/4-inch slices | ||
| ½ | teaspoon | Dried basil |
| Grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
In a 3-qt. saucepan, cook sausage and onion; drain fat. Stir in tomatoes, beans. broth. water, zucchini and basil. Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until the zucchini is tender.
Sprinkle each serving with cheese. Yield: 6-8 servings (2 qts.) Recipe By : Taste of Home
