1teaspoonChilli powder; (5 g)
½teaspoonOregano; (2 g)
½teaspoonParsley; (2 g)
1teaspoonLemon juice; (5 ml)
Salt to taste

Directions

THE MARINADE

SLIT the pomfrets and keep aside. Grind all the marinade ingredients to a paste and apply the mixture to the fillets.

Heat olive oil in a pan. Place the pomfret fillets, marinade side down and cook till golden brown. Serve on a bed of well browned onions with crispy lady fingers and corn bread.
