Measure | Ingredient |

7 cups | Oats (reg. or quick) (up to 8) |
1 cup | Grape-nuts cereal |
1 cup | Raisins (up to 2) |
½ cup | Chopped dates and/or other dried fruits |
¼ cup | Honey, warmed (up to 1/3) |
1 \N | Jar (10 oz) apricot preserves |
2 teaspoons | Vanilla |
1 teaspoon | Cinnamon, optional (up to 2) |
½ cup | Apple juice, optional (makes it crunchier) |
Stir together oats, cereal, raising and dates.
Combine remaining ingredients in small bowl and then pour over above mixture.
Spread on 2 cookie sheets sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 for about 30 min.
Stir every five min. and change racks. Cool completely before storing.
Notes: I like to leave big clumps in this. It is tasty alone, as cereal, over yogurt, on nf cottage cheese with fruit.
