Lemon poppy seed pancakes with lemon scented honey

2cupsBisquick® baking mix
1cupSour cream
½cupMilk
1tablespoonPoppy seeds
2teaspoonsGrated lemon peel
2teaspoonsFresh lemon juice
2Eggs
1cupHoney
½Lemon; thinly sliced

Directions

SYRUP

Beat all ingredients just till blended. Heat griddle and grease if necessary Make pancakes, keeping warm in low oven till finished. Honey Syrup: Heat honey and lemon slices in a 1 quart saucepan till hot. Remove lemon and drizzle over buttered pancakes.
