Lamb loin chops w/ turkish yogurt sauce

Ingredients

8 ounces Plain yogurt
¼ teaspoon Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon Allspice
¼ teaspoon Salt
¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
2 cloves Garlic; minced
2 tablespoons Fresh mint; chopped
1 teaspoon Lemon peel; grated
1 teaspoon Honey
8 Lamb loin chops; 1 1/4-inch
. thick, about 5oz each

Directions

In a bowl stir together yogurt, cinnamon, allspice, salt and cayenne. Add garlic, mint, lemon peel and honey and blend well. Cover and chill 2 to 24 hours.

Trim lamb chops. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat 5 to 6 minutes on each side, to medium doneness. Pour yogurt sauce evenly over all.
