Kima: greek meat sauce

Measure Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef or lamb
3 \N Onions; chopped
½ cup Butter
½ cup TOMATO PASTE DILUTED IN:
1 cup Water -or-
1 can Tomatoes; drained
\N \N Minced garlic to taste
6 ounces Red wine
3 tablespoons Chopped parsley
1 \N Bay leaf
\N \N Salt and pepper

Date: Thu, 22 Feb 1996 18:04:41 -0500 (EST) Saute the onions in the butter and stir in the tomato paste or can of tomatoes. Add the beef, and remaining ingrdients and cover and simmer 30 minutes. Serve over noodles, rice or macaroni.
