Jill's beans

Yield: 1 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 \N 15 oz can pork and beans
1 \N 14 oz can butter beans; drained
6 slices Bacon
1 \N Green bell pepper; cut in strips
1 medium Onion
1 \N 3 oz can sliced mushrooms; drained
½ cup Catsup
2 tablespoons Prepared mustard
⅔ cup Maple syrup (may use part molasses)
1 teaspoon Oregano
8 \N Cloves, whole
2 \N Bay leaf
⅓ cup Red wine (optional)
1 cup Diced green chiles (or more to taste); roasted and
1 cup Serrano chiles (or more to taste); sliced in rings

Cut bacon slices in half and cook over medium heat, add green pepper and onion. Cook until onion is beginning to turn translucent and bacon is cooked but not crisp. Add all other ingredients. Stir and heat.
