Italian anise toast

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Eggs
⅔ cup Sugar
1 teaspoon Anise seed
1 cup Flour

Heat oven to 375. Grease & flour 9*5*3" loaf pan. Beat eggs & sugar.

Add seeds. Mix in flour. Bake in pan for 20 minutes. remove from pan & cut into 16½" thick slices. Place slices on greased baking sheet; bake 5 minutes or until bottoms are browned; turn & bake 5 minutes more. Serve with ice cream on top.
