Hungarium gulyas (goulash) by alice

Measure Ingredient
1½ pounds Beef
2 \N Carrots, large
1 can Stewed Tomatoes-Puree
¼ teaspoon Paprika
1 teaspoon Onion-chopped-dried
2 \N Celery-stalks
2 \N Potatoes-med size cubed
1 teaspoon Salt

Cut meat into squares, wash, add paprika, salt, stewed tomatoes and ¼ cup water. Cook slowly for 1 hour. Add all of the washed and diced vegetables, but potatoes. Add another cup of water and cook slowly for ½ hour. Add potatoes, continue cooking for 15 minutes.

Add 2 cups of cold water. Let it come to a boil and cook for 10 minutes. Serve as a main dish.
