Heat to the boiling point 1 cup of milk. Mix together 1 teaspoon cocoa and 1 teaspoon sugar and add to the milk. Stir until well dissolved. This makes one cup. Half water may be used. Many of the recipes in this collection did not contain amounts or oven temperatures. I have typed them in as they appear in the book, typos and all.
