Gum drop cake, joyce's

Yield: 8 servings

Measure Ingredient
½ cup Margarine
2 \N Eggs well beaten
1 cup Sugar
½ cup Warm milk
1½ cup Flour
¾ teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
½ pounds Gum drops finely cut

Cream butter or margarine and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture alternately with warm milk, then add gum drops which have been floured with ¼ cup of flour before adding to cake batter. Pour batter into small tube pan greased and floured. Bake at 350 F 40 min.
