¼ cup | Olive oil |
2 cloves | Garlic; crushed |
1 pounds | Green beans; ends removed |
1 cup | Chicken stock; or water |
¾ teaspoon | Salt |
⅛ teaspoon | Pepper |
1 teaspoon | Dried basil |
2 tablespoons | Butter; optional |
PRESSURE COOKER COOKBOOK
In pressure cooker, heat oil. Add garlic and saute in hot oil 1 minute.
Stir in beans. Add chicken stock, salt, pepper, and basil. Secure lid.
Over high heat, develop steam to med-high pressure. Reduce range heat to mantain pressure and cook 3 mins. Quickly release pressure accdg. to manufacturer's directions. Remove lid. Stir beans, then drain in colander.
Place beans in a serving dish and dot with butter, if desired. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
