Grandmas chicken n dumplings

Measure Ingredient
\N \N CHICKEN
1 each Stewing chicken, in pieces
½ each Onion, chopped
2 eaches Carrots, chopped
1 each Celery rib, chopped
\N \N Salt/pepper to taste
\N \N DUMPLINGS
2 eaches Eggs, beaten
½ cup Broth from chicken
2 cups Flour
2 tablespoons Baking powder

INGREDIENTS

DIRECTIONS

Stew the chicken with chopped onion, carrots, celery and salt/pepper until chicken is done and tender. Take ½ cup of the broth for making dumplings. In a bowl, mix 2 beaten eggs, the broth, flour, and baking powder. roll out the dumplings and cut into pieces, not too thin nor fat. Drop into the simmering stew and cook, covered tightly, for about 15 minutes.
