Gorp squares

Measure Ingredient
3 cups Hillsborough Mills cereal (I don't have a clue what this even
\N \N Might be close to)
1 cup Quick cooking oats
¾ cup Flour
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 cup Flaked coconut
½ cup Raisins
½ cup Chopped apricots
¾ cup Butter or margarine
¾ cup Firmly packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons Corn syrup

PREP TIME: 15 MINUTES

BAKE TIME: 20 MINUTES

Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl and set aside. Cook the butter, sugar and corn syrup in a small saucepan until boiling, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and pour over dry ingredients.

Press into a greased jelly roll pan, and bake at 350F for about 12-15 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into squares while still warm. Makes about 30 squares. Origin: What's Cooking, 13th issue, booklet by Kraft Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Oct/95.
