Golden corn fritters

| 1 | teaspoon | Sugar |
| 1 | teaspoon | Salt |
| ½ | teaspoon | Pepper |
| 2 | Eggs; beaten | |
| 1½ | cup | Corn, fresh; cut from cob about 3 ears |
| ½ | cup | Milk |
| 2 | teaspoons | Oil, vegetable |
| Oil, vegetable; hot | ||
Directions
Combine first 4 ingredients in a large mixing bowl; mix well, and set aside.
Combine eggs, corn, milk, and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil; mix well.
Stir corn mixture into dry ingredients.
Drop mixture by rounded teaspoonfuls into vegetable oil heated to 375 degrees; cook fritters until golden, turning once.
