Goat cheese and olive spread

Ingredients

4ouncesGoat cheese (chevre)
4ouncesCream cheese or ricotta cheese, at room temperature
2Green onions, chopped
¼cupChopped fresh basil
2tablespoonsOlive oil
2tablespoonsLemon juice
¼cupCoarsely chopped black olives
½teaspoonPepper
Assorted fresh vegetables
(carrots,celery,fennel,green beans,cauliflower), cut in bite-sized pieces

Directions

1. Blend together goat cheese and cream cheese in food processor or by hand until smooth.

2. Add green onions, basil, olive oil and lemon juice. Blend until smooth. Add olives and pepper and combine just to incorporate olives.
