Ginger syrup

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
1¼ cup Water
1 ounce Ginger root stem, peeled and
\N \N Rough chopped


Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes. Cool and use the syrup to moisten cakes, sweeten tea, or over your ice cream.
