Ginger coffee

2teaspoonsGround cardamom
3tablespoonsFresh ginger; minced
1quartPlus 3 cups cold water
1cupMilk
2tablespoonsSugar
¼cupHeavy cream; cold
1ounceFine dark chocolate; grated

Directions

Prep: 10 min, Cook: 10 min.

Combine coffee, 1-½ tsp. cardamom and ginger. Brew with cold water using desired method. Combine milk and sugar in a small saucepan over low heat.

Stir constantly until hot. Whip cream with remaining cardamom to soft peaks. Serve coffee with hot milk. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle with grated chocolate. Posted to recipelu-digest by molony <molony@...> on Feb 08, 1998
