Fresh pear salad

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¼ cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Cornstarch
⅛ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Pear juice; or nectar
½ cup Orange juice
2 tablespoons Lemon juice
6 mediums Pears; peeled, halved, cored
\N \N Lettuce
\N \N Cottage cheese

Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a saucepan; stir in juices.

Cook over medium heat until thickened, stirring constantly.

Refrigerate at least 2 hours.

Arrange pear halves on lettuce leaves; spoon a small amount of cottage cheese into cente of each. Spoon fruit dressing over each pear.
