Fresh homemade salsa ( butter busters )

Yield: 6 servings

Measure Ingredient
2 \N Tomatoes
1 \N Lime
2 teaspoons (to 3) chopped fresh
\N \N Cilantro
1 medium Onion, diced
1 can (6oz) tomato paste
2 \N (or 3) jalapeno peppers,
\N \N Choped finely
½ teaspoon (to 1) minced garlic
½ \N Green pepper, diced

Place tomatoes in blender and blend until they are a chunky consistency. Add chopped onion and chopped green peppers. blend 20-30 seconds. Heat prickled lime in microwave 10-20 seconds. Cut lime and squeeze into salsa mixture; discard lime. Add garlic, cilantro, tomato paste and jalapenos. Stir and refrigerate 2 hours before serving. This is a great salsa recipe given to me by a dear friend, Jill Humbracht.
