Fettuccine with shrimp, tomatoes and basil - bon appetit

Ingredients

½cupOlive Oil
1poundsUncooked medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
4largesTomatoes, seeded and coarsely chopped
½cupChopped fresh basil
cupSliced pitted black olives
3largesGarlic cloves, minced
2tablespoonsMinced shallot
Salt & freshly ground pepper
1poundsFettuccine, freshly cooked
Grated Romano cheese

Directions

Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp, toma- toes, basil, olives, garlic and shallot. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until shrimp turn pink, stirring frequently, about 3 minutes. Place pasta in serving bowl. Pour sauce over and toss.

Sprinkle with Romano. Serve immediately.
