Falafel (edwards)

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Dried chickpeas; soaked in Water for 24 hours
1 teaspoon Baking soda
1 teaspoon Salt
½ cup Finely minced onion
2 tablespoons Finely minced parsley
1 teaspoon Ground cumin
1 teaspoon Ground coriander
2 Garlic cloves; finely minced
1 tablespoon Lemon juice
1 dash Black pepper

Drain the chickpeas well and place them and other ingredients in a food processor. Process until the mixture is of the consistency of coarse corn meal. Form into patties and fry.
