English potato balloons

Yield: 4 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 cup Mashed potatoes
2 teaspoons Baking powder
½ cup Milk
1 pinch Salt
2 Eggs
1½ cup Flour

Mix well and drop by spoonfuls into deep, hot lard (or shortening). Serve with jelly or powdered (10X) sugar.
