Easy choucroute garni

Yield: 6 Servings

Measure Ingredient
¾ ounce Pkg
⅓ cup Firmly packed dark brown
\N \N Sugar
1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
½ cup Beer
1 medium Onion -- thinly sliced
2 \N Bratwursts
2 \N Knockwursts
1 pounds Chicken or turkey
\N \N Frankfurters -- halved
2 \N 16 oz. pkgs
20 ounces Can
\N \N Brown gravy mix
\N \N Fresh sauerkraut
\N \N Sliced apples -- drained

Combine gravy mix, brown sugar, caraway seeds and beer in large skillet.

Add onion, bratwursts, knockwursts and franks. Simmer, stirrung and turning meats for about 20 minutes. Add sauerkraut. Mix well. Cook over Medium heat for 10 minutes. Add sliced apples. Cook until well heated.
