Dinah shore's trifle

Ingredients

| 2 | cups | Apricot preserves |
| ¼ | cup | Cherry-flavored Liqueur |
| 1 | Box (small) Vanilla pudding, prepare | |
| 1 | Layer Fudge Cake, halve | |
| 1 | can | Cherries; pit, (15 ounces) drain |
| 1 | cup | Whipped cream |
| ½ | cup | Almonds, toast |
Directions
Mix jam with liqueur. Spread jam on cake sides. Put together and cut in 2" squares. Put ½ of custard on bottom of bowl. Top with ½ of cake. Press.
Top with cherries, more custard, more cake, mash, more cherries. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle almonds on top.
