Delicious mushroom pork chops

4 | eaches | 3/4 In Thick Boned Pork Chops |
⅓ | cup | Finely Chopped Green Onion |
2 | tablespoons | Butter, Divided Use |
1 | cup | Finely Chopped Mushrooms |
1 | each | Egg, Beaten |
1 | teaspoon | Italian Herbs |
Dash Of Ground Black Pepper | ||
½ | cup | Finely Chopped Parsley |
½ | cup | Shreaded Cheddar Cheese |
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
Heat one tablespoon butter in a frying pan and brown the pork chops on each side. Place the chops in a baking dish.
Saute the mushrooms in the remaing butter in a small saute pan until they are no longer moist...about 3-4 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes. Mix together mushrooms, parsley, green onion, beaten egg and spices. Place filling on top of pork chops. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top after about 30 minutes. Check for doneness at the side of a pork chop. The jucies should flow clear whe pierced with a fork.
