Cumin rice

Ingredients

1Onion; chopped
¼cupDiced green pepper
2tablespoonsBacon drippings or oil
1cupUncooked rice
1can(13.75-oz) chicken broth
1can(10.5-oz) consomme
1tablespoonWorcestershire
¾teaspoonSalt
½teaspoonCumin

Directions

Saute onion, pepper and rice in drippings until golden. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or place in casserole, cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
