Cumin rice

Yield: 8 Servings

Measure Ingredient
1 Onion; chopped
¼ cup Diced green pepper
2 tablespoons Bacon drippings or oil
1 cup Uncooked rice
1 can (13.75-oz) chicken broth
1 can (10.5-oz) consomme
1 tablespoon Worcestershire
¾ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Cumin

Saute onion, pepper and rice in drippings until golden. Add remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer 20 minutes or place in casserole, cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
