|1 teaspoon||Baking Powder|
|⅔ cup||Chopped Walnuts|
|1 teaspoon||Banana Flavoring|
|¼ teaspoon||Baking Soda|
|⅔ cup||Mashed very ripe Bananas|
Into a square cake pan, measure flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nuts. Stir with fork to mix well. Add remaining ingredients; stir until blended and smooth. With a rubber spatula, scrape any ingredients clinging to the sides, corners, and bottom of the pan into the batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.
Cool in pan on a rack. Cut into 9 squares.
