Cornish hens w/wild rice

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 Cornish hens
2 Sheets aluminum foil
Pam
1 Box long grain wild rice
6 ounces Jar mushrooms; slice, drain
4 ounces Almonds; slivered
1 tablespoon Basil flakes
¼ teaspoon Salt
2 Bay leaves
1 teaspoon Tarragon
½ teaspoon Chives
2 tablespoons Butter
1 teaspoon Soy sauce
cup Spring water
1 teaspoon Black pepper

Directions

In a saucepan cook the rice and the remaining ingredients to make a stuffing for 15 minutes on medium. Stir and cover and simmer on low for 5 minutes. Take rice and stuff it into each hen. Make sure each hen has 1 bay leaf only. Spray the foil with Pam and wrap each Cornish Hen tightly. Put them in a crockpot, add ¼ c water and cook on low for 10 hours.
